Full-Time International/Travel Nanny – Fairfield, CT, TURKS & CAICOS (8 months a year)/more

Schedule: 5 Days/Week | From Younger Child’s Wake-Up Through Bedtime | Extensive Flexibility Required

About the Family

A private family based between Connecticut and Turks and Caicos is seeking an experienced, highly flexible, and dependable Full-Time International/Travel Nanny to care for their two daughters, ages 4 and 14 .

This is a unique, travel-intensive position for a professional nanny who is comfortable spending significant periods outside the United States. The nanny must be willing to live in Turks and Caicos for approximately 8–9 months and travel with the family throughout the United States and Europe . A valid passport and driver’s license are required.

The position will be particularly hands-on with the family’s 4-year-old daughter , including her daily care, meals, bathing, laundry, school transportation, activities, playdates, educational engagement, and bedtime routine. The nanny will also provide age-appropriate support for the family’s 14-year-old daughter , including meals, laundry, school transportation, sporting events, and room organization.

The family is seeking someone who can comfortably adapt between locations and provide consistency, organization, and dependable care while traveling.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and consistent care for the family’s 4-year-old and 14-year-old daughters
• Take primary responsibility for the 4-year-old’s daily care and routines
• Prepare meals and food for the younger child
• Assist the 4-year-old with bathing and personal routines
• Handle the younger child’s laundry
• Take her on walks and provide active, age-appropriate play
• Teach, read books, and provide engaging educational activities
• Transport the younger child to and from school
• Transport her to sporting events and activities
• Arrange and transport her to playdates
• Keep her bedroom, clothing, and belongings organized
• Prepare meals for the 14-year-old
• Handle the older child’s laundry
• Provide transportation to and from school
• Transport the older child to sporting events and activities
• Keep the older child’s room and belongings organized
• Maintain consistency in the children’s routines while moving between residences and traveling
• Travel with the family throughout the United States and Europe
• Live with the family in Turks and Caicos for approximately 8–9 months
• Provide a high level of flexibility based on the family’s schedule and travel needs

Ideal Candidate

• Several years of professional nanny experience
• Strong experience caring for preschool and school-aged children
• Experienced and comfortable with extensive domestic and international travel
• Valid passport required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Willing and able to reside outside the United States for approximately 8–9 months
• Comfortable living and working in Turks and Caicos
• Available to travel throughout the United States and Europe
• Fluent in English
• Warm, nurturing, patient, and engaging
• Comfortable teaching, reading, playing, and providing educational enrichment for a 4-year-old
• Organized and able to manage children’s clothing, laundry, rooms, schedules, and belongings
• Comfortable preparing meals for both children
• Confident driving children to school, activities, sporting events, and playdates
• Highly flexible and adaptable to changing locations and schedules
• Dependable, professional, discreet, and trustworthy
• Interested in a long-term position

Schedule & Living Arrangements

The nanny will work 5days per week , beginning when the younger child wakes and continuing through her bedtime.

On the nanny’s scheduled day off, the current requirements state that the nanny will still be responsible for dressing and bathing the 4-year-old before handing care over to the parents .

The living arrangement will change as the family’s residences are completed:

• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Initially Live-Out
• Approximately 8–9 months will be spent in Turks and Caicos
• When the family is back in Connecticut, the nanny will live out in a carriage house across the street
• The family anticipates completing a new villa around September 1, 2027
• Once completed, the family plans to provide accommodations in a two-bedroom apartment attached to the main house

Travel Requirements

This position requires significant travel and the ability to transition comfortably between residences.

• Turks and Caicos: approximately 8–9 months
• United States: domestic travel as required
• Europe: family travel as required
• Valid passport required
• Valid driver’s license required
