Floral Designer
Full Time Position  

Bring your creativity to life at Bachman’s! As a Floral Designer , you’ll create beautiful, thoughtful arrangements that celebrate life’s special moments and offer comfort during times of loss. From custom customer orders to sympathy designs, you’ll use your floral design skills to bring each arrangement to life while collaborating with a talented team across a variety of floral and special event projects. If you love working with flowers and creating meaningful designs, we’d love to meet you!

Job Duties:

• Produce original designs to fill customer orders and sympathy arrangements.
• Duplicate various arrangements of different styles.
• Assist customer on the phone as directed.
• Assist other departments such as: Permanent design, weddings/special events and planter production as directed.
• Working with technology, including tablets, to record activities and arrangement components. 
• Other projects as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-2 years in floral design experience is preferred.
• Driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report required.
• Wedding work experience is preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills is required.
• The ability to duplicate and create arrangements and recipe at design level. 
• This position requires standing the entire shift.
• Must work in a fast pace work environment
• Ability to frequently lift 10 – 30lb, occasionally life 50lb.

Schedule:

• 6:00am- 2:30pm, Monday-Saturday. Rotating schedule to accommodate every other Saturday, potential for more for during seasonal peaks
• Hours will vary during season, more hours will be required during peak seasons

Compensation: $16.50-$20.00
