When not actively delivering orders, communication and support of team members is key in the movement and display of inventory to offer customers the highest level of customer service.This position combines delivery driving with hands-on support of our florist department. Responsibilities include delivering floral products and supplies, processing fresh flowers and plants, washing buckets, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting with general floral department tasks as needed. Candidates should be comfortable with both driving responsibilities and the physical, hands-on work involved in supporting daily floral operations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must have no record of any DUIs and will be subject to a background check. Previous experience in the retail, horticultural, or gardening fields is preferred but not required.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in an active retail store environment. This job may be either indoors or outdoors or both.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.This position requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and / or crawling.
